MW4 Mercs: Does it work on Windows 10?

I'm a relative newcomer to Battletech, having only recently started playing MWO. I played some MW4 a few months back on Windows 7 before I started having issues and stopped. Recently I was forced to upgrade my computer to Windows 10 and I'm wondering if it will still work.

*Edit* Never mind. MW4 will run on Windows 10.

I honestly don't know now. It would boot up and run on my old computer that I was forced to update to Windows 10 on, but it was slow and glitchy. Now it doesn't work at all.

I managed to get it to work on 10. It seems to run pretty well overall.

How I did it was:
went to the game folder containing the executable for the game (MechWarrior4\Mw4Mercs), right clicked on the executable for the game (MW4Mercs.exe), went to the compatibility tab, and clicked the "Run compatibility troubleshooter". I let it run, let it choose the best options automatically, and tested the game. Game tested fine, and that's been that so far.
