Steam Summer Sale Info - 2013

To earn the cards for this event you need to do one of the following things.
• Every 10 bucks in the store gets you eligibility for a card. Not sure if you just get it at that point.
• Vote 3 times on the community choice. (Resets every 8 hours so 1 card a day if you watch it)
• Trade with other users.
• Buy in market
o In reverse you could potentially earn cards and then sell them back for more money to buy games. Prices for cards are very high you could potentially sell cards for 1-2 bucks or 15-20 if it’s a foil.

Completing a badge gets you the following as far as I can tell:
• A Summer Sale emoticon
• A Summer Sale profile background
• Another Summer Sale card
