Does anybody know if there is a mod for this game that adds the use of cannons?

I think if you keep asking lords to do special missions and complete them, eventually a new dialogue option appears (don't quote me on that though lol). There are only 3 main stories though so make sure its the right faction. I know Russians have a main story. Idk about others. There is a guide on the downloads page on TaleWorlds' website if you are really stuck, but it is packed with spoilers.

if you join a fraction you can go to a commander in a capital (it it has one) there you can pay the commander to train troops and after a few days you can take them

im finding the quest that you have to sneak into the harem hard because those guards keep trapping me in the corner and killing me

Yea, block kick kick kick and you win hehe, and it's impossible to find the guy that you meet at first, there is that quest you need to know some thing that was wrriten on cannons so the guy that helps you knows the answer, so I asked a travler where he is, went there, and magicliy HE IS NOT THERe, I checked tavern, lord's hall and the streets :(

you can only upgrade them with better armor and weapons but it looks like you cant upgrade them to higher lvl. I read in the paradox forum that you can only upgarde your troops which you were recruiting in you OWN city

is it really true that you cant upgrade your troops anymore?? i mean those you get in the mercenary camps? they are all just reqruits wtf?

It crashes sometimes... crashed when i was about to siege a town.

you must go back to the camp and if you have enough money you can upgrade eg infantry with extra armor or weapon (but you need each 2000-5000 gold)

how do I upgrade mercenaries from the camps? runing around and getting wrecked by deserters

You must look for a Mercenary Camp on the Map. There is one near Moscow
