If you want to manage multiple game servers in a traditional game server administrator sense, check out hlxce, gameME, sourcebans, etc.
LGSM does what it does very well. I'd be more inclined to keep its focus on the core services that it currently supports rather than looking to expand to features that it does not.
I partly agree with cedarlug. Once setup there shouldn't be much you need to do anyway. Having said that there is a project that uses LGSM scripts (im not directly involved) that is (in early development http://rokket.info/.
