[Solved] ARK IP Bind
Howdy!

I have a problem with IP Binding from ARK: Survival Evolved. I entered the IP in arkserver.sh and the Gameserver starts with the wrong IP, is there any Special Setting I must edit?

Regards

EDIT: I tried the same with Just Cause 2 Server and it works, so just ARK doesnt want use the other IP.

Then you may have an issue with your 2nd IP, either wrongly set, or not acces to the internet.
Just use the same IP as the other, but different ports.

As i said Just Cause works with the second IP, just ARK have problems..

Well, Unity ports to linux usually suck. I'm already seing that with how Rust supports multiple processes and handles sqlite (a way so shitty you can't even imagine it). Deal with it ?

Well, we've been able to solve pretty much all issues for Rust Linux server, maybe if you didn't figure this out we may have a solution now.

Sounds good, what have I to do?

First, let me know how you're trying to bind your IP ?
I also need to know where you're hosting that.
Is that a home server with 2 ethernet or a dedicated with 2 interfaces or 2 ip bound to it ?

I tried it with the start parameter: (# Start Variables
ip="hidden")

I have a dedicated Server from ip-projects.de with 4 IP bounds on it.

The same works with Just Cause 2, but not with ARK

"IP" is used for monitoring your server by LGSM on the right IP.
To change your IP in Ark, you need to change the start parameter

parms="TheIsland?MultiHome=127.0.0.1?listen"

Replace 127.0.0.1 with your actual IP
