Install your server
Copy the token.
Edit ts3-server.ini if needed (change IP if multiple interfaces, or port if multiple TS servers for example)
Then enjoy.
Changin IP in ts3-server.ini should not make you lose your rights or change the code. Nor did i lose anything when i transfered my teamspeak server from a machine to another 2 days ago.
Hello i did what you say, install the ts3 server, all ok, save my token and my admin and pass query, them i put my token on ts3, all ok. edit my ts3-server.ini with the ip of the machine, on nano editor, and restart my server, after that, i lose my admin rights...sounds strange but is that is happening.
details:
Server name: Teamspeak 3 Server
Server IP: voice_ip=0.0.0.0:9987
Status: ONLINE
dbplugin: ts3db_sqlite3
as you can see no ip on details, is empty and edit the file will result in a new machine id, in my case id2. Ts3 server, id1 is gonne and the token not working, it says "........has already been used.......
http://pastebin.com/gBRDD7q1 =ts3-server.ini
http://pastebin.com/g43mVMu4 =lgsm-default.ini
edit file, but the id is not 1, but its id2 on the machine....not make sense....where is the realy file with the id2?!?!
My server has machine_id=
left blank. So try removing the 1 from it and see if you recover your rights ?
Does the files belong to the right user ?
ls -al serverfiles/
output ?
I wanna see the user it belongs to.
Might be that your files don't belong to the actual user who runs teamspeak.
