Report a translation problem
- One single installation, multiple scripts with different names and different configurations, but common files, so customization is a bit limited between servers
- One user, one install: easiest, only gotta change ports but uses way more disk space
You are doing a way that doesn't exist:
- Single user, multiple single installs
That doesn't make any sense.
Servicename is taken from your csgoserver script name. If you have one user, with multiple scripts named csgoserver, it obviously won't work.
I have to say some people did poor updates to the "Multiple Game Servers" wiki page, I'll correct it, hopefully you'll get the point if not already.
https://github.com/GameServerManagers/LinuxGSM/wiki/Multiple-Game-Servers
It's more efficient and easier to manage because right now if we want to restart all servers we need to change users everytimes?
I also want to report:
In ./gameserver details, headers appear in dark blue on the black background of the console. It isnt a great idea.
https://github.com/GameServerManagers/LinuxGSM/wiki/Multiple-Game-Servers#installing-multiple-game-servers-with-the-same-script-name-under-the-same-user
I have to admitt the page was full of crap, so sorry about that. Please feedback if you notice any remaining anomaly.
Also, thanks for the typo correction :p
