Avorion
I just picked Avorion up and it has a Linux dedicated server. I'm looking to help out by contributing to LGSM a version for Avorion. Where do I get started? I'm assuming github? What's the best practice to do so?

AppID is 565060. I'm pretty familiar with LGSM - I use it to manage a few of my game servers and I'm pretty familiar with how it runs. My coding experience is largely on linux and I'm very familiar with bash and bash scripting. Reviewing the scripts for each of the LGSM games that I run and all the code seems pretty straight forward.

Hi!

You're very welcome to start working on a new server !

Chaos is actually working on a doc providing all relevant links to get started which you can preview here:
https://github.com/GameServerManagers/LinuxGSM/pull/1270/files

First, open a github issue with like a steamdb link or any other relevant info to this particular game server.
Then follow Chaos' guide, all wiki relevant links for development are listed in it, but you will also be able to find them simply by browsing to https://github.com/GameServerManagers/LinuxGSM/wiki and having a look at the "Developers" section at the bottom right. Watch out the branching system before starting working.

Of course, you can ask any question on github or discord while developping, we'll be happy to help you with it.

Good luck ! :)
