At the time i said this most of my friends were skipping emp for NS2 and I stuck around empires. Some people cant see a joke when it hits them in the head. I for one do not want this game to die. The fact that i spent a lot of time with small groups on the servers just trying to build community momentum for a larger more fun game is a testimony to my love of Empires. Peace be with you all.

i would so much like to help/play, but right now my internet is so bad that i cant even play :( but that should change in about a month and iam planning to make some videos..this game cant die as iam too much addicted to it xD

Get rid of trickster mootant and Empty and revert to 2.24 or ♥♥♥♥ you.

Just leave the steam group, Wham. And Empires while you are at it. Just because you are a pessimistic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can't see nor appreciate all the good stuff that has been added to Empires since that version does not mean they don't exist. Like it or not Empires has, in fact, improved over the years, it's the community that has attitude problems because people like you keep spreading your stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ negative opinions about every single thing and infecting every player, practically feeding them with miss-information about the devs, the development , previous versions and anything empires. Asking for a revert is like taking a ♥♥♥♥ on the developers hard work, yes they do work hard, we still get updates, new features and a general improvement of the game. Even if it ends up being criticized by selfish pricks who act like children who just discovered how to think critically.

Grow the ♥♥♥♥ up is what I am saying.

Well I don't think that this is a realistic option. I mean sure ppl all have their favorite version of empires, but thinking of the time that was needed to find sophisticated enough devs to even get another patch out. I think its unrealistic to get a whole new dev team. And do a rollback is not gonna happen. Also I don't really see a lot of use in that, with factions on its way (hopefully) and the new patch coming out soon (I think its pretty neat). I think of short and reasonable means to fill servers for an evening or two. Just to remember the good times, maybe to get some of the old players back to empires. So again: How to organize events? What time would be good. Should we do a fixed maprotation or should we just let the vote decide. I know a lot of people disapprove with the maprotation and votesystems on epic and viper.

The only quick way of reviving empires is to abandon steampires. Go for 2.24. Alternativly, we find a new set of developers who bring back all the good stuff that has been removed and can pick up where Krenzo left of.

How to organize empires events?
Well, I am not sure. I would love to organize events were we raid epic or viper server. But I am not sure about times and stuff. Also should we organize a fixed maprotation for that? Or should we take a fix date without time and stuff and try to fill the server? Maybe on a regular basis. I think you see what I am aiming for. Whats your idea?

Make events with this group to get people to play. Of 100 people we ought to get a good number to play, just pick a good euro/american time.

Remember those times? When I could get banned on more than one server and the name STALIN was feared by all new ♥♥♥♥ and fagmins alike.

Remember those times? When we were able to fill 2-3 servers at once? I would love to see that happen again. What do you think? Can we activate enough people to fill epic and viper at once?
