I'm still using the same name from that server, still talk about how much madness it was. That server was amazing, so many fond memories. It is just hard to explain to people that weren't around for how customized CS was. All the special skins, scripts for buying xp, miss it. Had such a great time, staying up till my parents yelled at me playing that server.
PS Kiwi, if you need any help or info I have degrees in computer science as well.

Yeah it was amazing. Was actually my childhood haha. To this day I still use KYFI as my clan tag in some games. It was such a fond memory. Although most people from those days on my friend list have been offline for all these years.

Its crazy to me that starting that server would eventually lead me to a career in software development. I had zero interest in going to college or coding anything before starting that server. But i ended up learning some coding languages, like Python, and in the last months of that servers life I was adding new classes and abilities and dabbled in map creation. Its wild to me that my love for the warcraft / zombie mod combined with my arrogance that i could run a better server than those that already existed would lead me to the life of a computer programmer.
Anyways I'm glad you all liked it as much as I did and I will always remember those days fondly (and tell anyone who will listen about it.)
