Which debit cards allow adding funds to Steam wallet?

I uh wanted to buy some of those steam exclusive digital games which aren't available on retail. And I'm not at all a fan of Credit cards. So can anyone tell me which debit cards are accepted by Steam as of now?

The only accepted dcs I know are of ICICI and Axis bank, I'm sure there are some more though...

Neither am I. The whole concept of credit cards is rather confusing & suspicious for me.

Be it debit or credit cards, both function the same way as long as you make a purchase from an international store e.g steam. Since in case of international transactions you wont be taken to the secure portal page as indian sites will take you. So both credit and debit work exactly the same way.

If you are a wokring professional then get a credit card as they work on all international websites. Otherwise a debit card would work fine.

I only found my axis mastercard debit card working on steam and my icici visa debit card was not accepted on steam even though that guide poited out above says that icici bank cards are accepted.

Either way, never store your card details on steam for an added safety. Happy Gaming.

@aniket Can you please elaborate that ICICI bank part? Most people I have asked recommended ICICI bank debit cards and you are saying it doesn't work...

Thanks, I was not thinking of just Steam but websites like GMG, G2A, Humble Bundle, Indie Gala, etc in general where I can use a working card (and they sell Steam keys at very cheap rates). I'm getting an Axis Bank acc soon so will be using their card, ICICI needs a huge initial deposit. I don't think any student can afford 20,000 initial deposit and min balance of 10,000

GMG accepts SBI and BoM, any visa debit card really. axis bank doesn't need min 10k balance?

HDFC debit card with international shopping, enabled using netbanking, worked in every site (origin, gog, steam, gamesplanet, gamersgate )
