Is there a problem to set offline on friend list ?

As the title says, Is there a problem to set offline on friend list ?
Will it work normally ? I dont mean the steam to become offline, i mean be offline on friend status so no one will call me to play other games while im using it

There is no way for it to not say what game you are playing. Just like htere is no way to do it in the CLient.

As far as Steam is concerned you actually are playing that game.

@Sepioth, there is a way to do it in the client, and what the OP is asking is if you do it in the client, will it mess up things for Idle Master. Unfortunately for the OP, I don't know the answer to that. If someone does know, but the way the initial post was confused them, what the question rehashed is

"If after loading Idle Master, I go into the client, open my friends list, and set my status to offline (aka invisible), will that still show me as offline to my friends while allowing Idle Master to continue to drop cards?"

My gut feeling is yes, but I don't know for sure.

I know that there is an offline mode. I'll rephrase my answer.

When you are set to offline mode (even in the friends list), as far as I know, you can not get card drops.

I'm running IM now after setting myself to offline in my friends list. So far zero card drops.

EDIT:
I stand corrected. If you set your friends list to offline you still get card drops. It just took 45 mins to get my first card.

So yes you can set your status to "Offline" and still get card drops.
