Steam Remote play Problem/Improvement - Aspect ratio and streaming adjustment
Hello everyone, I recently bought a Steam deck OLED and now I would like to stream from my PC to the Steam deck when I'm at home and lying in bed.

However, there are several screens connected to my PC:
(1): Samsung G9 - (32:9) main screen
(2) LG 4K 32 - (16:9)
(3) Acer 27 - (16:9)
which now causes the following problem.
As my main screen is in 32:9 format, I can't stream from it. As there is no setting for streamed aspect ratio in the (Remote Play settings). The aspect ratio of the main screen on which the game was started is always used.

Now every time I want to play a game on my Steam Deck, I have to start it on the PC first, then put it on the (2) screen. So that the aspect ratio is set to (16:9) and then I can stream.

Would it be possible to add an option to the remote play adjustments/settings with which I can adjust/set the streamed aspect ratio of the game?
Because with Remote Play the entire monitor is streamed!
If you go back to the desktop with the Windows key, for example, the screen is streamed to you.
That means it adopts the aspect ratio of the screen being streamed.
So an external option for adjusting the streaming aspect ratio and choosing what you want to stream wouldn't be a bad idea, e.g. like with Discord. I actually only want my game to be streamed and not my entire PC screen.

That would make streaming from the PC so much easier if you have multiple monitors with different aspect ratios.

Furthermore, there are no options or settings on the Steam deck to end the remote stream. This means that I always have to exit the game so that I can end remote play. It would be cool if the Steam deck recognised the remote play and the left Steam menu then showed that you are connected and whether you want to disconnect.

Kind regards
Benji
