Plex + SteamOS = win!
If valve could buyout plex and intergrate it properly into steamOS you really could take over the hometheater.

Plex already works on pretty much all OS' and devices and being able to stream any video/music/game just seems like a mind blowing idea.

Chances are this will never happen but I can dream. Please do it valve :D

im using ihs on my plex server pc. it was headless b4 but i use my plex tv app to access plex and use hdmi out from it for ihs.

Plex is just rebranded XBMC. There is no need to buy it, it's GPL from the start.

Plex is more than just rebranding, although it's core is still based on XBMC.

Combining Steam in-home streaming with plex would make the ultimate client/server media/games home streaming system.

It is possible to some degree already by running Plex on SteamOS and adding it as a non-Steam game.

Exactly. When I wake my TV I want the choice of either going into plex or playing a steam game. Please make this an official option valve :(
