I have done some more research and it turns out Tridef 3D has a registry hack you can use to enable 3D in windowed mode instead of exclusive fullscreen. Using this in combination with DXWnd and WinExp to force games into (borderless) windows, any (Tridef Supported) game should be streamable in 3D!
So far, I have enjoyed Far Cry 3, AC IV and the Walking Dead on my LG Cinema 3D tv in Top-Bottom Mode :D (Just remember to set the TV input type to 'PC' to remove post-processing on the TV).
Everything is available through this thread:

Dear Valve
Please add in options to force games into borderless windowed mode using the same method as the aforementioned tools (a global setting with black-list or white-list of games to apply to).
Also, I noticed an issue with streaming non-steam games whereby they don't get listed AT ALL in the 'recent' view. I would assume this is because the steam account doesn't record how much you've played a non-steam game so it gets excluded. Could this data be retrieved from the server machine?
