Launch Steam from Windows Media Center
I'm want to get streaming working on my HTPC. It's used for recording and watching TV. It does not have a keyboard and mouse hooked up to it. I use a media center remote for everything. It would be nice to be able to launch Steam from Windows Media Center with the remote and be able to play games with a game controller, then have it return to Windows Media Center when I quit Steam.

Try using Relaunch or similar for WMC to run Steam: http://madeformediacenter.com/m4mc/app.aspx?id=76018b17-6756-4674-8d09-6580f7c38526

If you have Steam start when windows starts and you have an Xbox 360 controller you can hold down the guide button for a while and it'll start Steam into big picture mode.
