I am not exactly sure how you would be able to do this, or even
think could be pulled off?

How would you go about doing this?

First, you gotta remember, these Games are not made to run on STEAM,
which means, these Games don't have MOD Support...

STEAM can't just go, & modify someone else's Game to allow MOD's,
or a STEAM Workshop to be available in them on STEAM...

So with that said? How would you go about allowing this support?

Without some kind of Example of how you would want it to work,
or some kind of Explanation that would make the whole idea function-able...

It's kinda hard to know what exactly are you asking for, or what you are
actually wanting here?

-----------------------------

PS: You do realize, Emulators are Illegal, right? 2ndly, they hurt companies, &
companies don't want them around...

3rdly, think for a second...

Valve, & Game Developers are not the Developers who made Emulators,
thus why they are not Made to work with STEAM, & if they are not made
to run on STEAM, then how can STEAM make MOD Support for them,
when they weren't the ones who made them?

If i'm not mistaken, the only ones who allow, or make Mod Support for
Games on STEAM, are the Developers of those Games, not Valve...

Like how Bethesda added Workshop & a MOD Shop to Skyrim, they own
the rights to Skyrim... But Skyrim was made to work on STEAM, & later
moved to a Platform that had it's own MOD Shop that the Dev also owned...

So this makes Non-STEAM Games, & Non-STEAM other things, a bit harder to allow...

The far that you are so clueless its just funny.

First of all he meant to allow remote play in non steam games and in source mods not to allow to mod a non steam game. This way you can play coop with a friend in games not sold on steam.

Secondly, i think you miss understood the fact that the steam overlay can be used in any game. Right now you can add any non steam game to your library and use the overlay to take screenshots, talk to friends while gaming ect. Valve its not modifying the games files to allow remote play, they are simply adding the overlay on top of the game and remote play works the exact same way and is more than possible to do it.

Now emulators are not illegal otherwise every company like nintendo would have already taken them down. Whats illegal its downloading the game by other means and using it in the emulator, in fact in most emulators they usually have an anti-piracy warning. I use rpcs3 with my legit copies dumped from my ps3 to play for the sake of better quality and more options such as 4k.

Also again your next point is clueless as ♥♥♥♥. They dont need to access the game files to add remote play support or use with the ingame overlay. You can use emulators with the ingame overlay if you want.

Lastly i dont get your last point either but yet again you confused this whole thing with mod support which has nothing to do with remote play. Yes skyrim has workshop support, yes bethesda made their own mod store but only for the sake of monetising it since valve doesnt allow mods to be paid in the workshop.

Do some research before answering questions like this please.

"The far that you are so clueless its just funny."

i was not talking to you. I was talking to the person i was quoting who is confusing this whole thing with mod support.
