CLIENT:
Windows 7. Old AMD dual core, 2 GB ram, nVidia 210 GPU. The splitting ccurred in Lego Marvel Universe and Portal 2 (the only games I tested).
DESCRIPTION:
The output video was split in two halves (vertically divided). Also the video was split horizontally every few hundred pixels. Each horizontal split was alternated to one side then the other of the vertical split. The game video (since it was split) only took up half the vertical. The Steam text ("press F6", "press F8", etc) was still correctly positioned at the bottom of the screen. However you could see that only new data was drawn and no between frame clearing was performed. Text would shortly become blurred as more text was overlapped (e.g, framerate) and the performance graph would slowly fill under with previously drawn stats.
Edit: I guess there was screenshot posted above. Mine looks just like that :)
