Odd mouse cursor issues with Mass Effect
When playing Mass Effect, any time a mouse cursor is visible on the screen, I'm unable to use the mouse on my client to actually...do anything. Moving the cursor doesn't appear to activate the hover states of menu items, etc. If I move the mouse attached to the host machine, things sort of work as expected...but I can't see the mouse cursor move! It's really weird.

Summary:

- When moving the mouse on the client, I can see the cursor move on-screen, but it doesn't appear to have any effect on the game UI
- When moving the mouse on the host, I cannot see the cursor move on-screen, but it does affect the game UI
- If I move the mouse on the client to a specific point on the screen, and then move the mouse on the host, the cursor appears to start from the location where the client mouse left off

So my workaround is to move the cursor with the client mouse to a well-known reference point on-screen, and then move the host mouse around to fiddle with the UI as needed. Pretty painful. Luckily both of my computers are very close to each other at the moment.

Host: Windows 7
Client: OS X 10.9.3

Ok, so I had the same problem with my mouse.I found some answers and try them all: I reinstalled the game, the mouse, etc. Nothing.
So I decided to deactivate the Origin in game presence and I got my mouse back. I hope it works for you guys.
Sometime it gets really frustrating when trying to find a solution and no one ever offer one.
