SDL Emulators (ScummVM and DOSBox) won't stream when using OpenGL
ISSUE
When streaming a game that uses ScummVM or DosBox, no game video is not displayed on client side (only the ScummVM/DosBox console that should be in the background is shown). If I change the video to anything other then OpenGL, the game displays fine, but the Steam Overlay/Steam Controller will not work. On the "server" side, everything loads correctly, but on the client side, the console shows, but the game never comes up (the game sound comes through, so I know it is playing. It did come up correctly 1 time, but I have been unable to repeat this.

I have set the environment variable "set SDL_VIDEODRIVER=directx" as found on line to make SDL use DirectX and not windib, and that made no difference for the streaming (remember, everything is fine on the server).

I have tried this on steam games (Freddi Fish) as well as ScummVM games I own (Curse of Monkey Island, Fatty Bear). the same problem happens on DOSBox games. I have also tried both Hardware and Software encoding.

here is the post I made in the ScummVM forums if that helps at all: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=13960

Server:
OS: Windows 7 x64 / Windows 10 x64
CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1230 v3
GPU: ATI R9 270
RAM: 8GB

Client 1:
Macbook pro (Late 2013)
OS: El Capitan
GPU: Intel Iris
Ram: 8GB

Client 2:
Steam Link

STEPS:
In Big Picture
Select LIBRARY from the main menu
Select ALL GAMES
Select Freddi Fish (or any other ScummVM game)
Launch game

RESULTS:
Game Starts with audio, and part of the server desktop with the scummvm debug console is shown, but the game is not displayed.

EXPECTED:
Game should stream with video and sound to the client

Starting with the Nov 1 update, all of my steam purchased ScummVM games work. also, adding a non steam scummvm game work by adding the "--no-console" command line switch.

EX: "C:\ScummVM\scummvm.exe" -c ./game-ini-file.ini --no-console gameid

Also, don't use "set SDL_VIDEODRIVER=directx", it seems to breaks SDL 2.0 applications (eduke32)

hope this helps someone.
