Can't take screenshots on host while streaming video

Issue

Streaming games from my desktop to my Deck is almost flawless, but I can't take screenshots on my desktop with either local or remote inputs if I'm streaming video to a remote client (tested with my Deck and another computer).

This issue is consistent with both the dedicated Steam Link app and the Deck's built-in remote play functionality. I can only take screenshots while streaming if I use the dedicated app and set it to not stream video. Both local and remote inputs can take screenshots when video is not being streamed.

edit: I tested this again on Windows 10 and taking screenshots worked as expected.

OS

Host: Linux Mint 21.2
Clients: SteamOS 3.5.7 on Deck, Linux Mint 21.2 on another computer

Steps to Reproduce

    
1. Stream game from (Linux) host with video streaming enabled
       
2. Attempt to take screenshot with local input (e.g., press F12 on host's keyboard)
       
3. Attempt to take screenshot with remote input (e.g., map "Take Screenshot" to a button on a remote controller and then press that button)

Results

The (Linux) host does not take a screenshot.

Expected Results

The (Linux) host takes a screenshot.
