host (WIN10) and client (OSX10.14.6)
Game launch on Win doesn't stream on OSX.
Playing using Steam Link as alternative.
My Windows 10 PC hosts the RPG table on TableTop Simulator (TTS)
Our GM remote plays from his Apple Mac over the internet (using his Steam login on both server and client)
I use a separate Windows account on the host PC specifically to allow my GM to Remote play. The TTS files for each Steam account are stored in a separate folder on the host PC
I log in to my Steam account from another Windows 10 PC
Both Steam accounts have a TTS licence
Rough tech spec of the Windows host PC (Remote Play server):-
Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4Ghz (8 CPU)
20GB RAM
nVidia GeforceGTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19044)
The Windows 1- PC and the Apple Mac can "see" each other, there is an option to play TTS on both using the drop down arrow. We tried hitting PLAY on the host and CONNECT on the Mac as we normally do. We also tried launching TTS with STREAM on the Mac. Both the Host and the client appear to have gotten the Wednesday update (it is a little difficult to confirm the MAC update as my GM is not at all technical and I do not know OSX)
The Apple Mac is a very old spec (hence the need for GM to remote to my PC). I have to significantly reduce the display resolution on the host PC.
We had already checked everything was OK on the evening of Tuesday 15th Nov UK time (as we normally do after the regular Tuesday update) . All was fine Tuesday evening but, when seven of us sat down on Thursday evening we we unable to play.
Was not sure how to log this with Steam as a problem, is fault logging done through this forum of is there another way?

Most recently trying to run Skyrim SE but have attempted other games without success.
Also tried swapping roles, using Windows as Client and Mac as host. Pop-up message:
Have any of you that had the problem since 16th Nov now found the issue to be fixed?
Our group are planning an RPG session on Weds so the GM and I plan to run a test Tuesday evening (29th Nov). I will report back after that test.
Felixonapedestal suggested Steam Link however this appears to be for when your are connecting to a steam host on the same local network? My GM has to connect from his Mac to my Windows 10 PC across the internet.
Remote Play had been working over the Internet and local network until the 11/16 update.
I'm running Windows 10 on the host machine and Mac OS 10.12 on the client.
Clicking "Stream" on the client launches the game on the host, but fails to connect. The button briefly changes to "Stop" then displays the "Connect" option. Clicking "Connect" briefly changes to "Stop," then back to "Connect." This happens with games that have launchers and those that do not; it appears to be a categorical issue with connecting in the Steam desktop client.
This happens both over the Internet and on the local network. Connecting using Steam Link on my phone works on the local network.
(Note that Steam Link suggests it works on a LOCAL network. HOWEVER it does seem to work over the internet. )
1. You will need to download Steam Link on to you host machine.
For a Windows host use:-
https://media.steampowered.com/steamlink/windows/latest/SteamLink.zip
Install Steam Link
2. Download the Steam Link App for you client machine.
For a Mac client use:-
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/steam-link/id1246969117
Install Steam Link
3.Make sure you are logged in to Steam with the same account on both client and host
4. On the CLIENT, start Steam Link
(Find this in your installed applications NOT Steam. i.e. for Win10 use the Windows key/icon and scroll down for "Steam Link"
If attempting to connect across the internet, Steam Link will announce that it can see no other Steam devices/controllers.
Click on the cog(settings) top right hand corner
Click on the computer icon
Click on "Other computer"
You should see a 4 digit PIN and a set of instructions. Make a note of this PIN
5 On you HOST machine find "Settings" within the Steam app"
(For Steam on Windows 10, "Settings" should be in a drop down menu under "Steam" or "View" top left of screen)
Click on Remote Play
Click on "Pair Steam Link"
Enter the PIN you obtained from the client
You should now see the client paired in the box above "Pair Steam Link"
Click on OK
6. Now go back to the client and find your game in Library
Click Play.
The game should now start on the host and stream to the client
Please provide feedback if this does (or does not) work.
Good Luck!

I've absolutely given up on fixing this issue myself - clearly Parsec wins - which I also recommend to all of you. I wasted my time typing the original post, and am continuing to waste my time typing this. You call yourselves Devs?
