UPDATE: suggested workaround to use DXVK works, copied dlls into steamapps\common\The Book of Unwritten Tales 2\Windows\
EDIT: the DXVK workaround doesn't seem to work in this case unfortunately...
I managed to switch to DX11 via the in-game settings and now it works.
Apparently the latest update messed up something with DX9 like another user said. I hope they can fix it soon.
EDIT: Host PC has a GTX 1650 Super, client PC has Intel HD Graphics.
RTX 3080, Game Salt and Sanctuary and brightness problem on Remote Play Client.
Host was OK.
For me it helped yesterday to turn on the NVFBC option in the steam settings / remote play / host options
I re installed the old version binaries of Steam from a disk image backup and it works fine until Steam does an automatic update. I can reproduce this bug consistently.
Right now my only work around is to go off line , copy the old binaries and package , start Steam , switch to on line then play the game until Steam is restarted and updates.
Well, pretty much confirmed it was the steam update then
helped for me aswell (lego lord of the rings remote play together)
Can confirm this also worked for Towerfall Ascension. I had tried it before and it didn't for whatever reason, but now it did. Thanks
Awesome thanks for the workaround, can confirm it works for Pillars of Eternity.
