Remote Play breaks desktop resolution
ISSUE
Trying to use remote play seems to set my pc's screen resolution to the lowest possible. Trying to change the resolution in game does not do anything. Ending remote play fixes the problem.

OS
Windows 10

GAMES TESTED:
Ultimate Chicken Horse
Stick Fight

STEPS
Launch a game
Start remote play
RESULTS
Game + desktop resolution becomes extremely small (seems to be 320x180 from what I could make out in the Ultimate Chicken Horse settings).

EXPECTED
The games should run at 1920x1080.

this happens to me too, but only on the main monitor

This happened to me too with "Enter the Gungeon". The resolution turns to 320x180 and it must be changed from the Screen settings in the desktop (through the right click window on the desktop). This never happened in the past, both with EtG and with "Crawl".
The solution written in the main post of "bugs/solutions" doesn't work.
Hope the programmers will address this problem ongoing for months.

I've tried doing that before, but the screen resolution was so small the settings wouldn't even show up properly

on advanced stream settings, the second from top to bottom, something about set the resolution the same as the target machine, and there is another about dynamic resolution, you can test both
