in-home stream middle mouse and side buttons not working

Hey! With my xbox360 controller in-home stream works perfectly,
but when I play with keyboard and mouse, the middle mouse button and scroll, and the thumb buttons, don't properly. Anyone encounter this and knows how to fix it? Thanks!

Problem specifics:
I've tried with official driver installed and with official driver uninstalled (so with generic windows driver). Both options don't work.

Tried Sniper Elite 3 with gigabyte M6880 6 button gaming mouse and generic 3 button logitec mouse. Scrolling (weapon switch), very unresponsive, had to scroll a lot for the weapon switch command to register, and always stops to respond to middle mouse scroll altogether after about a minute. Middle mouse button not working. Thumb buttons (M6680) not working.

Tried metro 2033 redux with gigabyte M6880 6 button gaming mouse. Middle mouse scroll and button not working. thumb button not working.

Crysis 3 with gigabyte M6880 6 button gaming mouse middle mouse scroll not working. Middle mouse button and thumb buttons work fine.

Call of Juarez gunslinger with gigabyte M6880 6 button gaming mouse. Middle mouse scroll and button not working. thumb button not working.

System: Latest stable (non-beta) steam v017, win7 64bit, nvidia gtx760, amd fx 6300, 8gb ram

Yes, still a Problem in many Games, f.e. Cities:Skylines.

Yup, seeing this issue in cities:skylines with right mouse button set to control camera rotation.

UPDATE: I can confirm this issue is resolved in Cities: Skylines after updating to latest Steam BETA on both host and client PCs.
