Steam Link audio stuttering with Bluetooth headphones (Nova 12s + Windows 11)

After reinstalling Windows 10 and factory-resetting my Huawei Nova 12s, I'm experiencing audio stuttering when using Bluetooth headphones (Sony WF-C510) with Steam Link on Android.
Strangely, the video is smooth, and the audio quality is fine, but there are frequent interruptions (stuttering).

What's even weirder:

This used to work perfectly before with the same setup.

Even my older Bluetooth headphones now suffer from the same issue.

Stuttering starts as soon as any Bluetooth headphones are connected, even if I use others later.

The only way to "reset" the audio is to clear Steam Link data and restart the phone.

I’ve disabled permissions (microphone), tried various audio codecs, and even turned off HD audio — no luck.

Seems like Bluetooth + Steam Link + low-latency streaming is causing some buffer or sync issue on Android.

Things I tried:

Reinstalling Windows

Factory reset on phone

Disabling mic access for Steam Link

Disabling HD audio / changing Bluetooth codec (AAC, SBC)

Disabling battery optimization for Steam Link

Testing with and without Bluetooth mic

Changing headphones

Using Steam Link with wired headphones = OK

Any ideas? Has anyone run into this?
