Steam Remote Play Together Not Working

Me and my friend used to play steam remote play together for a lot of local coop games however it randomly stopped working. It would starts loading and then the window just closes after a few seconds. It does the same when I try to connect to his remote play. Nothing changed on his PC and I can still host remote play with others it's just not working for this person specifically. He tried a different network and it still does not work so it is not firewall related and he already tried reinstalling steam and that didn't work either. Nothing changed and it just stopped working all of the sudden.

He is on windows 10, nothing changed on his pc that he can recall between the last time we remote played and when it stopped working. I am on windows 11 and am able to have other people (from win 10 & 11) connect to my remote play just fine its just him

he should try with other players to see if it works and make sure he has remote play enabled on steam settings

It crashes for anyone he tries to play with, he does have remote play enabled.

But now you say "it crashes" ...
no error-code message ?
clearly is a problem with his pc. Is he hosting or connecting when it crashes?
He should record a video with the process and report to Steam.
Also he can try other similar apps like Parsec to see if it works.

Turns out he had something installed called Cloudflare Warp which he was unaware of and uninstalled it fixing the issue. Thanks for the help.
