Screen streaming

Can I use Remote Play without streaming my whole screen to a phone? I would like to do different stuff on my pc, while the game is being played on a phone. I am almost sure, that second monitor wuold help, but are there other solutions?

no

you would need a 2nd display to do that,
but steam remote play clones the display/window with focus

remote play controls can still be sent to the game/window without focus
