AndroidTV Streaming Issues

I have an issue with Steam Link on ONE of my Android TVs:

- I have a TCL R646 with Android TV built-in and it works flawlessly
- I have a Bell FibeTV (Arris) box connected to my Vizio P55-F1 TV via HDMI (at 4k quality) which has an issue displaying the full screen of the stream, detailed below

I have discovered some odd behavior:

- If I run Big Picture in windowed mode, I can see the full screen on my TV prior to launching Disco Elysium, at which point I lose roughly 2/3s of the screen
- If I run Big Pitcture in full-screen mode, I have the same issue with only 1/3 of the screen visible
- However, if I decrease my remote play resolution down to 480p, I am capable of seeing the entire screen in windowed or full-screen mode in Big Picture, and the game streams in full-screen as well, albeit at a bad resolution

Has anyone encountered this issue? I have tried modifying all relevant settings to no avail.

is the tv 4k?

in link app settings, try limiting res to 1080p

Yes, 4k TV. The only way I can get full screen image is at 480p.

is it using wifi or its lan port?
tvs skimp on their wired lan and only use 'fast' 100mb/s port, not 'gigabit' 1000mb/s lan
which is not enough for 4k streaming
but it should still work at 1080p with no problems

in window try disabling display scaling, set it to 100%
