Budget client laptops?
Looking for recommendations for a budget client laptop. Wanting a laptop so it's mobile, yet easily dockable to the TV in the living room.

I currently have an Acer aspire a515-43 r19l with ryzen 3 3200u and amd integrated graphics. It can handle some older games, and can even do some modern games when cloud gaming with pc game pass. But, can't really handle much with remote play.

I have an old Galaxy tab S4 that actually handles it really well, but the small screen leaves a little to be desired, and doesn't display out to a monitor well.

Network speed is very fast. Main rig is an Intel i5 8500, 32gb ddr4 ram and an RTX 3060 12GB.

for remote play, any laptop will work
android tablet would probably do ok

for a good 1080p stream, you only need 40-50mb/s
as long as the wifi is ac or better it will be fine
just make sure windows network is set to private and disable wifi isolation for the ssid you use
I figured out the issue! After a long night of testing out different setting configurations, after I disabled hardware decoding on the client decive, everything works GREAT! So happy I don't have to but a new laptop.
