Gamepad malfunctions when streaming to another PC
As the title implies I am having a strange issue with my Logitech 710. So I have my gaming pc in one room and an old pc connected to the TV in the living room. My intention is to have the gaming pc stream the witcher 3 to old old pc to play in the living room, but for whatever reason, the controller malfunctions when I an in game. When I hit a button on the dpad the game cursor will continue on as if I am holding it down.

Stranger still, the gamepad works just fine when the game is played locally on both pcs, the issue only presents when I stream.

After a bit if searching, some suggested disabling steam input, which doesn't help. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same issue.
found a Reddit post which advised to switch to Steam Beta Client.
This resolves the issue for me. (only needed on client, not host PC)

Thanks for the tip, it worked!

It's funny, I found a bunch of posts suggesting the opposite. But since I was never in the beta, I just moved on. Never thought switching to the beta would be the fix
