Streaming issues on new MiniPC vs old Samsung TV App
Hi,
I've always used the Steam App on my Samsung TV to stream games from my main PC. For the most part it worked fine however I decided to invest in a MiniPC to replace the TV app. The MiniPC is a Beelink Mini-S12 Pro with Windows 11. I've installed Steam but the streaming process is very laggy and my games dont run as smoothly as they did with the app. I cant imagine the MiniPC is struggling as the main PC is doing all the hard work. Surely the MiniPC is more capable than my 5 year old Samsung TV.
I honestly thought streaming with my new MiniPC would have been straightforward but I've been struggling with it for a few hours now.
The paring process was seamless and easy but its just everything else. Big Picture feels very laggy and whenever I do manage to get into a game it feels sluggish. More often than not the game wont start and when I take a look at the main PC the game hasnt started properly. The Samsung TV app seems to take me straight to the game.
I suppose I could continue to use the app but my thinking is its very old now and not being supported or updated any more. Plus I wanted the MiniPC as I thought I would see an improvement in performance.
Any advice would be great.
Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to return the MiniPC and get a Steam Link device.
