Holy thread resurrection Batman!

I have the same issue - streams start fine, but no picture, just sound.

Streaming from i7 Sandy bridge, Win7 Pro x64 desktop, AMD 7970 to i5 Win8.1 Home x64 client. AMD driver 14.1, Nvidia 334.89

All games launch after clicking stream after a no connection error & I can hear audio, moving the mouse/cursor keys indicates they are active within the game, but no picture - are there any settings I can adjust other than the obvious within the client?

Edit: Things I have tried:

Specific firewall rules for Steam & In-Home Streaming
Reinstall Steam to C: (previously R:)
Disable DisplayFusion & set main monitor as the only desktop

This resulted in Dust:AET loading it's cursor to a white screen, but that's it, all subsequent attempts generate black screen again.

Disable Hardware Decoding in the settings, this worked for me.

Just curios, which game were you trying to stream? I had this issue with streaming Assassin's Creed 4 with Uplay. As long as I launched Uplay from the host before streaming from Steam on the client I am successful.

I am out bringing threads back to life today! I found a real solution to this problem which just works if you have an Nvidia graphics card!! Moonlight let's you stream content from your gaming rig and play from any device. https://moonlight-stream.org/#

You might try to disable HDR in the game menu. Doing that fixed the "black screen" for me.
