World of Warcraft
Has anyone tried this with WoW? I've only just heard about this new feature and am excited to try it with some games, but i'm wanting to hear from people who have tried WoW.

Basically my main PC with a HD 7970 is my HTPC attached to my main TV in living room, as you can image i don't get to game with it much (not that i have much time to game anyway) .. I also have a rMBP that i use to play WoW, it only has a Intel HD 4000 which isn't really capable and causes the RMP fans to run at full speed.

Am i right in thinking i can install WOW on my main PC, add it to steam and then stream it to my rMBP without it (mbp) breaking a sweat?

Will i be able to run the game on ultra (or whatever it can handle) ? and expect better performance than i would running it natively on my macs HD 4000?

It seems a waste playing wow on my rMBP when i have a much better PC but WoW needs to be on monitor in front of a mouse and keyboard so this solution would be amazing if it worked as expected.. I know the game relies on a decent ping so is it likely to struggle when streaming a game through my network as well?

Another bonus is freeing up the space on my mac as WoW is huge.

Adding a non steam game to your library only merely adds a link, as it isent on steam and never will be i dont think thats what they were aiming at

confirmed that it works. add the wow to your library and launch it from within steam itself or stream it. I haven't tried any other games but I wanted to try wow since my laptop seems to burn out when i try to play high graphics, but with streaming, I can do that now HOWEVER this is a bit of a lag... a bit...
