Its probably not going to happen without jail breaking you PS vita, its caused by the fact that console gaming is currently losing sales to PC and Sony doesn't want to encourage that If it did happen you would probably need PS plus or something

I would want this too, I have a Vita and I want to be able to play my games without having to have access to a PC or laptop with Steam installed.
