SOLVED Generic gamepad don't work on games at client when game streaming

Hello,

i have problem with game streaming - controller (generic gamepad - tested on two drifferents gamepads) don't work on client. When i connect to host games work perfectly, but connected to client not work at games. Works in client steam menu, but when launching streamed game don't work. Mouse and keyboard works good.

I tried turn off firewalls and antivirus. Even i try this - firstly i connect gamped next launching steam with admin privileges, and launching host with admin privileges too.

I've tried emulate gamepad to keyboard like buttons was letters e.g. arrow up on gamepad was "w" on keyboard. And emulates very good - in notepad opened i can "write letters", but in game still no effect.

Also tried connect fristly gamepad to host and when game is launched disconnect from host and connect to client, but on client don't work. When connect back to host everything works normally :/

Host:
Windows 8.1 x64
GTX 960
i3-4330

Client:
Windows 7
Geforce 330M
i5-480M

Could anyone help me to solve this issue? I wanna play some games in convinient way (on couch at big tv screen ;-) ) but playing at keyboard and mouse is very badly this case :(

I'll be very appreciate for any response cause i have no strength to deal with it (i stuck with this for few good days searching internet). BTW sorry for my english.

Did you try configuring the gamepad in Big Picture Mode?

Yes, i also tried to remap keys in big picture mode, but not effect at all. In menu (big picture mode) controller works perfectly, only when i launch streaming game is not working at client side.

Hi, everyone!

I find some solve for my issue - this solving it in big round and this should not work in that way, but ... it works for me :)

I've made clean linux mint install on pendrive and now my client is booted from this pendrive with installed steam client and virtual usb server (production team haven't done yet windows sever version so that's why i used linux).

For further it is great for me because i have home made small AIO box (plex, torrent, nas, vpn, www, etc.. celeron J1900, hdmi) working on freenas, but i need to reinstall it to linux, and then just i will plug gamepad to it and install steam and will be work perfectly :D For now i will use this pendrive and laptop :)
