Steam Link and live tv

Hi

I couldnt find anything specifically on this subject surprisingly;
I have my gam,ing rig upstairs and a steam link/controller downstairs. Ive been playting games on it now with no problesm really 9now that they are configured correctly) but my question is this

Ive got a sammy smart tv downsatairs onte h same network as my pc and would like to stream live tv contect onto the tv, say, using acestream / sopcast for example (preferably ace stream) can i do this using my steam link?
I havent used it at all for streaming media yet but im assuming it will let me stream any content i have on my pc (vids music etc)
but its live tv i ewould really liek to stream and if possible id like to use my steam link to do it.
