White Screen when connecting to remote play

Ive played with someone 1month ago , we're trying to play the same game again , this time we cant play the game. after connecting the screen turns white and all we can do is move the mouse around. any tips for fixing the problem?

Hey I'm having the same issue - a black screen is shown, though in Baldurs Gate 3 you can see the cursor. It worked back in December. I have tried disabling hardware encoding and decoding and reverting to previous Steam version, as well as the latest update and Beta versions.

I alsoi chaged the BG3 renderere to Vulkan but this just made the screen white, rather than black.

The PC I'm streaming to is pretty old - a core 2 Duo but has latest windows 10 and have never had an issue with it.

Also it is difficult to access the drop down menus in the steam client as they do not display at all when clicked. They seem to be invisible as they can occasionally be selected if I happen to click in the correct position that the menu item would be located. Not sure if this is related?

Steam Support said they couldn't help.
