Remote Steam Link Is Offline
It's Christmas morning and I just got my daughter a steam controler and the team link. Right off the bat I'm getting this error -> Remote Steam Link Is Offline. I restarted my computer and the Steam Link, I switched to a wired instead of a wireless connection but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? Thanks

Desktop is Linux Mint.

I do not have any expierence with Linux, but can it be that your firewall is acting up? Steam needs some ports to be open to use in home streaming. From the Valve site:

UDP 27031 and 27036 (incoming, for In-Home Streaming)
TCP 27036 and 27037 (incoming, for In-Home Streaming)

Thanks. I just waited for about an hour and tried it again and it started working. Go figure. Thanks for that info though, that will help with any new routers I get.
