and disable any vpn, on router or devices
for across internet remote play/together
the host device needs 40+mb/s upload, and client needs 40+mb/s download
we already did all the mentioned settings I think.
We only tried at the same WiFi with a Mobile Hotspot and set direct share IP in the Steam remote settings.
But that did not work - I think the mobile Hotspot with a phone and a SIM had not enough bandwidth for both of us.
But trying via internet should work, with our bandwidth I thought.
Me: 300/50
My Friend: 100/20
I tried to be the host, but my friend just see a black screen and nothing happens...
anyway: we now mostly play games with the tag "online-koop" and this seems to work. But this way we can not play old retro games or any other games which only supports local koop :(
additional we both have to buy a copy of the game.
I also tried sunshine and moonlight with VPN to my LAN... but we had some problems with screen resolution.
and this is just a messi workaround :(
RPT would be best for controller settings, resolution settings, invite friend, etc...
So "remote play together" would be soooo great, but hell... we can't get it to work :(
but remote play is alot of bandwidth, 40-50mb/s
