Playing Fortnite

I added fortnite as a non-steam game, hoping i could stream it from another device, but every time i launch the game, it opens on my main pc, and stops streaming on my laptop before it can make it into the game. I get half a second of music from the lobby, then it stops streaming. anyone know how to fix this?

(2024) It won't stream successfully for a non-steam game that using a exe calling another exe file.

Even adding both FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe and FortniteLauncher.exe won't help.

I feel like I am only one step away from success. If steam could be told to capture a game which is already running.

However, you can use google Remote Desktop. It's slow but somewhat playable if u dont want to install 100GB game again and just want to see it runs. (Enable relative mouse mode , better using a hotkey)
