ASUS AC3100 issues with remote play

What settings do I need for this damn router. I can connect my pc and steam deck, but the non-steam games won't show up, and I can't launch the desktop install games on my steam deck. It's gotta be something stupid this damn router is doing, but I can't find any guide on what the hell to turn off.

in the routers wifi settings, turn off wifi isolation
it prevents wireless clients from talking directly to other devices

if some games do not show
make sure both host and client are logged into the same steam account

check the deck remote play client settings

it works on my hotspot, so it's gotta be something with my home network.
Isolation is off.

can you ping the deck ip from the host pc?
using either connection?

yes. Ping works. But things like remote play will show up connected but won't actually give me the option to launch. Meanwhile things like wampinator will not see eachother.
