Green Screen While Using Remote Play Together In The Sims 4
Hi, I was able to play The Sims 4 with my friend (MacOS) (using the same steam account on different devices) without any problem. But recently, my friend's screen has gone green. She could move the cursor but saw nothing but green. We have tried updating Steam, drivers, and the other methods available on the internet but they didn't work.
Is there any method we can do to fix this?

My laptop (host):
Windows 11
Intel i7-10510U 1.8 GHz 2.30 GHz
64 bit

Thank you

remote play together is for games that are split/shared screen

with sims4 multiplayer mod, both clients run the game

not saying it shouldnt work, but both players would be controlling the same k/m/controller inputs

green/black screen, stop streaming and try again

I don't think it has anything to do with multiplayer. I've used remote play for the Sims 4 for ages and suddenly last week I started getting a green screen issues after the most recent patches.

I've scoured everywhere looking for a solution, tried everything I've found, with no success.

Just discovered a potential solution in the Sims 4 discussion...apparently it is caused by the EA overlay. Disable that and it should work!

It didn't work for me either. Instead of a green screen I got an infinite loading loop on my laptop while the game ran fine on my desktop.
