steam remote play so lagy
Hi, steam remote play is very lagging, I tried both on my phone and with a friend from another country, the result is the same, the Internet is wired 100mb \ s, I checked package losses on the website and in valorant, it showed me 0%, but in steam remote play it consistently shows 60% + I absolutely tried all settings

how fast is the internet upload at host location?
for a good quality 1080p stream, it takes 40+mb/s upload

on lan it should work fine
disable mobile data on the phone
and make sure wifi isolation is disabled on the router
and windows network is set to private not public

Try port forwarding steam. Give it a permanent open connection and see if that helps. On Xbox Live I would have to port forward to change my NAT from 'strict' to 'open'. I have 300mb/s down and 100mb/s up and I get close to 1:1 quality. With 80 down and up you shouldn't theoretically have any issues. If this is the only service giving you a problem and you don't have crazy ping spikes in other games then I can only assume it is a software issue, and the router is the first place I would go.

Forward 9295 (for TCP), and 9296 and 9297 (for UDP) and see if there is a difference. If it's doing it on your phone and PC I find it hard to believe it is an issue on any device itself so the internet can be the only culprit I would believe. If there is no change than have the host and clients both port forward and try again.

you dont need to port forward for remote play anymore

are you using a vpn?
that will limit speeds between host and client and add extra layers of encryption/compression that just slow things down and add delays
