Remote play not finding computer away from home

I have downloaded remote play on my phone and can play fine when on my home internet (wifi) (computer on lan) but when I go somewhere else in a different wifi it won’t find my computer. Have the same setup with my ps5 and PlayStation remote play and it works great.

Any reason why I can’t use remote play away from home? I read online other people can make it work. Thanks!

Edit: I do leave it on rest and have tested waking it up with the app while at home and works every time
