No audio for Remote Play on Quest

simple as it sounds, no audio streaming from the steam link app, cannot find a workaround anywhere rn, i'm using a quest 2 btw

Same issue. No audio through Oculus Steam Link app with Quest Pro. Changing outputs manually and audio mirroring had no effect.

are steam streaming speakers installed on host?
get them here

and check mixer volumes on host pc
make sure steam client/bootstrapper volume is maxed

My Quest 2 plays broken audio with the Steam Link App, practically no audio. Snap, Crackle and Pop is all I hear.

Looks like I've found the solution for this

Go into your sound settings on the PC you're streaming from, and make sure both the Steam Streaming Microphone and Steam Streaming Speaker devices are enabled on the Playback as well as the Recording tab:
