Very low volume on very specific setup

Hi there !

I've always wanted to play games from my bed, using my bedroom TV. But said TV is not a smart TV, and I cannot connect directly to it. So i came up with a solution on my own, which is to stream from my gaming PC (in my office) to my working laptop (in the bedroom) and then plug the laptop to the bedroom TV via HDMI. This setup works like a charm except for one kinda big issue, the game sound is very very low, and doesn't seem to be affected by the TV volume. Even weirder, all other sounds from the laptop (youtube, windows sounds, netflix etc...) are perfectly fine. The only thing with a very low sound is the streamed game.

I have no idea what's going on at all, and if it's even possible to fix it.

I'll wait for you guys to come up with incredible ideas that might help me out on this one !

check the volumes on the host pc
if using steam streaming speakers, max that volume
if steam streaming speakers are not installed open windows mixer, and max steam bootsrapper/client volume

The host PC is using my wireless headset when i steam stream to my laptop, and my steam streaming speakers are used on 0 applications whenever I check

steams streaming speakers will be enabled when you begin streaming
check its volume after you begin streaming

I saw it indeed, and the volume was up to max, but the issue is still there.

I'd like to add that when i proceed step by step, the sound issue occurs when I plug the HDMI linking my laptop to my TV :

When I simply stream from PC to laptop, the sound is perfect on my laptop, but very low when I plug my Laptop to my TV.

I can work around that by asking my laptop to display audio from it's own speakers rather than from the TV speakers, but it kinda feels weird to have all the sound coming from a laptop that i put aside, rather than from the TV where my focus is.
