Using Remote Play Together with Steam Link app as a controller?
Hi!
I know that the Steam Link mobile app can essentially act as a controller by disabling the video and audio streams, and leaving just the inputs enabled. I was wondering if it's possible for a host to start a game, share the game using Remote Play Together, and have the guests use the Steam Link app as controllers to the game (with video/audio disabled, i.e. playing using a laptop/desktop screen and their mobile phone as controllers)? I've been wanting to play local multiplayer games with friends but most of them do not have controllers.
If not, are there any alternatives? I've been browsing other threads and it seems that using the Steam Chat app one could accept a Remote Play Together invite and play the game with controller controls only on the mobile device; is there a way to reroute the video stream onto a desktop client?
Thanks!

The alternatives would be gettin' a couple gamepads. Those things ain't THAT expensive. Anoter alternative would be a gamepad app, those exist, those mimic a gamepad to the host PC, those will do the trick.

The friends I'm playing couch MP with don't have gamepads (for the most part, the two Andreas' got their own) so I'm giving them some out of my box.
