try the steam link forums
https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/
and subforum for the client you are using
link hardware, link app for windows/android/mac, device type apple/tv/shield etc..
steam desktop client, works similar to the steam link windows app
connecting to the host, only streaming the game window and giving control to the game
but using android or link hardware treat it differently and will allow desktop mode
which would not give 'host is busy' errors
it may be how steam client on host is not passing focus to the game
enabling/disabling steams overlay for the game may also fix it
The questions are about "Remote Play Together" functionality.
Enabling/disabling overlay does nothing.
We have the game in focus and can play but the other person still has the window infront of his game and in my case he can see and can controll his character but the message window is still right in the middle of his screen and block a big portion of his view and no matter what i or he does the window does not go away.
Extra obnoxious because they won't just let us turn off the popup.
My friend can control the game and see it and everything, we get one-time solutions randomly on the same setup so it's possible too, but nope!
Valve hits us with the 1-2 punch of "we broke it" and "you're not allowed to fix it".
(No, the Beta on/off hasn't helped)
