Steam Controller not working on Apple TV 4k

When I connect the controller to my Apple TV 4k, the navigation in the AppleTV menu works. In the home screen of the SteamLink app, the controller is also displayed. But as soon as I start the connection to the PC, the controller does not work properly. (only navigation and A) In the menu option controller configuration no controller is displayed.

On host pc look for "unhide" devices button in general controller settings. Hopefully your controller is just being hidden from Steam Input to force Steam Links configg for controller - which should not hide controller in Steam Input settings.
After unhiding or getting steam client to show controller on host pc you should then be able to define layout as save as steam controller type to get controller workin in Steam link session on host pc when streaming exactly like local pc
You will need other controller or remote to navigate apple tv /steam link app. Steam Controller will only work on host pc after doing this.

I tried hooking up Steam Controller to android tv client where i also have Virtualhere standalone server. Steam link app cant detect Steam Controller. I did not try bluetooth but did try wireless adapter and usb mode. Only usb worked but controller kept disconnecting and reconnecting every 15-20 secs so was unusable.


Point is Steam Controller is completely broken with Steam Link on android tv client too.
